I’m testing the adage “Better Late than Never” with this listing of the Best Books of 2022 coming in mid January rather than in the last week of 2022. Since there’s never a bad time for a good book, I hope these titles find you when you’re hungry for a good book. Definitely better late than never. I am requesting GEOGRAPHIES OF THE HEART via interlibrary loan from my library as well as CORA'S KITCHEN. My library doesn't carry either. I am hoping they can find both of these. Thanks again for your recommendations.
ReplyDeleteIt's sad that some award-winning books don't make it to libraries because they're from small presses without the resources to get them into librarian's hands. I often enter requests for books like these so people will have access to them. Librarians and readers will enjoy Cora's Kitchen with it featuring a librarian and showing how Langston Hughes and Zora Neale Hurston used the library.
